17-Day Challenge DAYS 15, 16, & 17

DAY 15: August 13

1. Limit e-mail and blogging time to 1.5 hours/day – max. 🙂

2. Blog every day. 🙂

3. Finish reading Worship: Rediscovering the Missing Jewel. 🙂

4. Make dinner for the family every night. It’s really nice when leftovers are on the menu 4 days in a row.

5. Do something new every day.

Accompanied the mother to her first trip to Aveda! Unfortunately she didn’t have as good of an experience as I did. Some miscommunication occurred and the stylist didn’t cut my mommy’s hair like she wanted.

6. Run every day. Distance: 6.03 miles. Time: 1.04 miles. Average pace: 10:46 min/mile.

Not too happy about my time, but at least I made it through the full six miles.

7. Stay out of my room between the hours of 9am -9pm. 🙂

8. Take pictures of every single thing I eat and post it here.

Forgot to take a picture of breakfast again. Teehee.

Inhaled 1/2 a bag of chestnuts in the car on the way to Mother’s haircut.

When we got back from The Aveda Institute, I got a little food happy and ate five of these yummies.

As is the case with everything else in life, watermelon is more enjoyable when shared. Especially when you’re sharing it with the one and only Litzpitz.

Pre-run yogurt.

I spy a popped and peeling blister on Ronny’s finger. Gross.

I didn’t know that this Thai curry was leftover from Daddy’s birthday dinner – almost three weeks ago! AGH.

Is it bad to admit that I thought it was wonderful…

9. Do the family dishes every day. 🙂

10. Work on my scrapbook and finish it by August 17th. 😦

11. Practice piano for 2 hours each day. Can’t remember if I practiced today. Even if I did, I don’t think it was much.

12. Hang out with God every day for 1 hour. 🙂

13. Clean a different area of the house each day. 😦

14. Memorize the Sermon on the Mount [Matt. 5-7]. 😦

P.S. Today was my last dance class of the summer with Mollie. I really really really liked dancing with her the past month. I will definitely miss it during the school year and I hope I can do it next year as well.

DAY 16: August 14

1. Limit e-mail and blogging time to 1.5 hours/day – max. 🙂

2. Blog every day. 😦

4. Make dinner for the family every night. I didn’t make dinner for the family, but I helped cook dinner for Eelasor and me. 🙂

5. Do something new every day.

Nothing new today. All I did was skip T club, browse Saks Fifth Avenue’s huge clearance Buy One Get Two Free sale with Eelasor, and sleepover at her apartment. It was a good day, nonetheless.

6. Run every day. Today, I gave myself some much-needed rest.

7. Stay out of my room between the hours of 9am -9pm. 🙂

8. Take pictures of every single thing I eat and post it here.

Why do I always forget to take a picture of breakfast? Hmm.
